Welcome to Banks Trail Middle School

It is indeed an honor and privilege to be named and serve as Principal of Banks Trail Middle School! As principal, I will work endlessly to ensure Banks Trail is a school that operates in the spirit of excellence and provides each student with a quality educational experience.

As principal of Banks Trail Middle, it is my desire to create a school environment that will be enriched with academic, extracurricular, and community-based opportunities that will allow each Banks Trail student to be prepared for their matriculation into high school and beyond. It is my responsibility to ensure that our school prepares students to have the knowledge, skills, and understanding to compete locally, nationally, and globally in all aspects of their lives. I sincerely believe that middle school is a time where students are establishing the foundation for their successes in life through academic and social development and individual and societal awareness. I am a firm believer that these variables are cultivated by: classroom lessons that are rigorous, relevant, and engaging; extracurricular activities that enhance student learning and self-development; and community involvement, interaction, and service that make relevant connections to practical and educational experiences.

It is also my desire to promote a school that is a true “community school” and is a pillar to its community and the students it serves. It is my quest to create such a school by establishing strong school-community relationships that are entrenched with parental involvement and support, long-standing business and community partnerships, and a family environment where all stakeholders are included. Please join us, as Banks Trail Family journey together, in “building a tradition of excellence.”
